Currently, the Sales Departments and their branches are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Rostov-na-Donu, Samara and Almata (Kazakhstan). The MERLION company plans further development of Sales Department in the regions.
In addition to its basic activities, MERLION extensively develops the projects in the spheres related to distribution: Computer retail, system integration, assembly of PCs, servicing, etc.
Company’s Projects
POSITRONICA Nation-Wide Chain of Computer Stores is a joint project by MERLION, Russia’s largest distributor, and its retail partners. The first store was opened in March 2006 in Naberezhnye Chelny. As of today, the chain comprises of over 200 POSITRONICA stores in over 170 Russian cities and towns.
The name of POSITRONICA chain is a derivative of the words “positive electronics”. This was the idea which forms the foundation of the store chain concept. Unlike traditional stores engaged in retail sales of computer hardware, POSITRONICA chain has a wider range of IT Products (over 50,000 items of computer and digital devices), and higher level of salespersons’ expertise. You can always ask them for any advice; they will always understand what you need and will help you in selecting the right product.
The store’s interiors are also arranged in a way to provide the highest level of convenience to customers. Each group of products (computers, components, office equipment, input devices, software, digital and mobile devices, home theatres) has its own color in a shop’s interior. Thanks to color zoning, the place where the needed product may be found may be seen from the very entrance.
Most of large-size goods (like, for instance, computers, printers, monitors) are freely accessible in POSITRINICA shops, and that allows customers to appreciate the advantages of each model on their own.

CITILINK is run by MERLION, the Russia’s leading IT Distributor (www.merlion.ru).
CITILINK entered the computer retail market in December 2008. It is a retail project with several ways of servicing: an online shop; the central store with a floor area of over 4 thou. sq. m with electronic terminals servicing over 500 customers a day (7 Amurskaya St., Moscow); and since July 2009 one more way of servicing has been made available, which saves customer’s time and money, that is goods delivery points being open in all Moscow districts, CITILINK mini.
CITILINK offers its services both to individuals and legal entities, SMB’s (Small & Medium business). There are special rooms for them in the store, for holding presentations and documenting transactions.

“Computer Clinics’ Network” is a nation-wide network of authorized service centers, created on the basis of existing MERLION’s service partners and developed using the franchising model. The First Computer Clinic was opened in August 2007.
The Network’s rests upon the idea of professional quality maintenance of computer hardware, on a level of responsibility and client-focused approach comparable to that exercised by professional physicians.
Main goal of the Project is to satisfy the needs of a growing number of Russian users of computer hardware in centralized quality service and improvement of the availability of maintenance services. Computer Clinics will be focused at maintenance of finished IT products: PC’s, notebooks, printing devices, UPS’s, audio systems, and others.
Key features of Computer Clinics are: a wide range of authorizations across IT products which are most popular in the Russian market (DELL, HP, Ippon, iRU, Jetbalance, Powercom, and others), high expertise of service engineers, and nation-wide availability.
For the first time in the Russian market, a uniform centralized offer of additional services will be arranged: diagnostics, installation of software, adjustment and repair of hardware. This innovation will provide for transparency of maintenance services and pricing for Clinics’ clients.

MERLION Projects is a project by MERLION for creation of infrastructure IT solutions for the corporate market.
MERLION Projects offers corporate customers efficient infrastructure solutions on the basis of a wide IT products range supplied by MERLION to the Russian market.
MERLION Projects deals with corporate customers which are not reached by MERLION’s system integration partners. This allows expanding the Company’s market and occupy the niches not covered by MERLION’s partners.
MERLION Projects assists partners in situation when they enter into project relations with a corporate client, but do not posses appropriate financial and technical resources for project implementation. In such situation MERLION Projects acts as a contractor and implements the project. IT infrastructure built in that way is eventually handed over to the partner for provision of maintenance and support services.
MERLION Projects’ works doesn’t intersect with interests of the Company’s partners’ channel. MERLION continues providing full assistance to its partners in tenders and in implementation of products.

iRU Trademark was created in 2002 with the purpose of promotion of up-to-date technologies on the Russian IT Market. Mobile iRU computers were produced and sold by NCA-Group. A wide range of models, processibility and high quality made it possible for iRU notebooks to gain popularity on Russian market. In the first three years of their existence, iRU notebooks were marked with three “Brand of the Year” awards, and NCA-Group itself had been on of Russia’s TOP-5 players of the Russian Notebooks’ Market.
In September 2005 NCA-Group became a part of MERLION. Since that moment, all strategic management of iRU Brand is carried out by MERLION, promoting iRU Brand in another product segment, Desktop Personal Systems. First iRU brand PC was launched in March 2006.
